For a couple of years I have been looking for a lotion that can handle my extreme dryness and at the same time is gentle on my three year olds skin. In Origins Precipitation continuous moisture I found it. Origins Precipitation is a light, non greasy feeling lotion which is hydrating enough to deal with almost any kind of dry skin but gentle enough for use on your face and on young children.
I use a few Origins products on a regular bases and Origins Precipitation Moisturizer is one of my favorites. I have not purchased another body lotion since first trying Origins Precipitation continuous moisture, it is awesome. Origins Precipitation is a wonderful find; it contains a variety of moisturizers such as Sunflower oil, Soybean oil, Ginseng, Aloe, Gentian Root and Clary Sage. Origins Precipitation moisturizer delivers a continuous stream of hydrating moisture to your skin with out leaving a greasy residue. The scent is mild and refreshing but does not last and will not over power or clash with your perfume or cologne.
Origins Precipitation Continuous moisture can be purchased at the Origins counter in Macys, in brick and mortar Origins stores and on line at www.Origins.com . Origins Precipitation comes in two sizes 8.5oz for $22 and a larger 33.8 oz size for $55. I admit the price is a bit more then body lotions and moisturizers found at the neighborhood drugstore or supermarket but one application typically last all day. Usually I purchase a large 33.8oz Precipitation once a year and I use it for most of the year while the rest of my family uses it all year long. Yes I said I use Origins Precipitation for most of the year, this is because my skin needs a little more then just Origins Precipitation during the harshest of the winter months and that’s when I use Origins Precipitation Extra, but that’s for another review.
Origins Precipitation Continuous moisture is not only great for daily moisturizing but it also works on my three year olds dry skin patches that tend to show up every winter. He used to scratch the dry patches until the skin broke but since we started using Origins Precipitation Continuous moisture he no longer scratches the dry patches. Best of all the dry patches no longer become scaly or cause discoloration to his skin when the Origins Precipitation is used. To treat my three year olds dry patches I apply Origins Precipitation Continuous moisture once in the morning and again after his bath in the evening. While Origins Precipitation continuous moisture is great for use on dry skin it is also gentle enough for use on the face. The members of my family with more normal to dry skin on the face love Origins Precipitation, my face is more like an oil slick so I use it on the face very rarely.
As with any body moisturizer the best time to use Origins Precipitation Continuous moisture is after a bath or shower. Origins Precipitation feels silky going on and the gentle scent is refreshing. The price point of Origins Precipitation Continuous moisture is not the lowest, but it is long lasting and may fulfill all your moisturizing needs.
