As someone with extremely dry skin that only seems to get worse in the winter months, I’ve searched endlessly for the best products to use on my face. I’ve tried dozens of products by now, if not hundreds. Traditionally moisturizers never work the way I need them to, and lotions are even worse. Most products designed for dry skin work for the first few hours, then completely disappear. I finally found the best moisturizer for my dry skin, the Sephora Brand FACE Moisturizing Cream.

Living in Dayton, Ohio, it’s a little hard for me to find a Sephora store, so I finally decided to order from their website, and I’m extremely glad I did. Their FACE Moisturizing Cream was one of the products I was excited to try, but I wasn’t sure how it would work when I finally saw it.

The tube itself looks very trendy, but more like a bottle of hair gel than a tube of moisturizer. The bright pink and black design is pretty cool in a retro kind of way, while the French lettering was a little distracting. It took me a few seconds of scanning the back of the tube of FACE Moisturizing Cream before I even found the directions in English.

The FACE Moisturizing Cream from Sephora is hands down the best moisturizer. It’s very thick and creamy, and it actually sticks to your skin without drying it out. It also absorbs very quickly, leaving you plenty of time to put on your makeup. I also found that it has some real staying power.

I’ve tried moisturizers before, and they tended to rub or flake off after a few hours, but that wasn’t a problem with the Sephora FACE Moisturizing Cream. I applied it for the first time at 5 o’clock at night, and when I woke up the next morning at 8 am, my skin still looked soft and clean. I have a few problem spots, namely my forehead and chin so I added a little extra moisturizer there. Looking at it now, you can’t even tell that I have a problem with dry skin.

My only real complaint when I purchased the FACE Moisturizing Cream from Sephora was the price. At $18 for less than 2 ounces, it’s a little more than I wanted to spend on a product for dry skin that might not work. Now I’m really glad I did pick it up because this stuff is amazing. The patches of dry skin I usually have, have almost disappeared after using it for less than a week. I’m also happy to say that it looks like this small bottle will last me for quite awhile.

The FACE Moisturizing Cream for Sephora is a must for anyone with dry skin.

I decided to buy Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter for my severe dry skin. Recently I have had a huge problem with dry peeling skin on my hands and feet. I have always tried Sephora Brand products and I have usually been very pleased. Sephora products are often of great quality and price. I bought Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter with confidence, but I was a little worried if the body butter would be strong enough to tackle my dry skin problem. I purchased Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter for about $15. I bought the small size jar of five ounces. I thought that this was a pretty good price.

I really enjoyed the pleasant clean scent of this body butter. The fragrance is very light and not overpowering. Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter has a fresh scent that mixes well with my perfume. I really liked the cute little jar of body butter. The packaging made this look like a super luxurious body cream. The texture of this body moisturizer is so silky and luxurious. Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter contains shea butter which is very hydrating for my skin.

Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter is an extremely rich cream. The body butter is not at all greasy, and absorbs easily into my skin. After using this on my hands, the dry skin disappeared completely. This body butter is extremely hydrating and moisturizing for my skin. I am very surprised at the wonderful quality of this moisturizer. I wasn’t expecting it to be so rich and luxurious. I found that I only needed a little bit of the Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter to get soft, smooth, silky skin. This little jar has lasted me a very long time. This body butter glides on my skin very smoothly and easily with minimal effort. I love using this right after I get out of a warm shower. This product is very good on dry cracked feet.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of Sephora Brand Body Super Supreme Body Butter. What I liked the most was the wonderful texture of the cream and the pleasant scent. I wouldn’t change anything about this wonderful body butter. It definitely does a great job treating dry skin. I will purchase this product again in the future. I am very happy with my purchase and the great price of such a wonderful product.

According to the dictionary, “organic” means anything of animal or vegetable origin, using no pesticides or chemicals. Until the 1930s, the term “organic” was rarely used until popularized by Lord Northbourne who wrote about “organic farming” in his book. Until recently, “organic” spoke to the method by which meat, poultry, fruits and vegetables were grown. It wasn’t until the “Green Revolution” that “organic” went mainstream and opened up new markets for today’s discerning consumer looking for quality, value, safety and sustainability. The cosmetics industry followed suit, offering organic as an alternative to what are often chemically-produced make up and other personal care products.

Organic and Cosmetics

100% Organic. Natural. Nature’s Made. Ethically-Sourced. Made with Organic Materials. Made from Natural Ingredients. Made with Organic Ingredients. Eco-Friendly. You see these labels all the time but what do they really mean? Which cosmetics are really organic?

Surprisingly, no uniform regulatory standard exists worldwide for personal care products. Consumers, then, have pretty much been on their own when buying organic make up and cosmetics. Fortunately, this is changing and several groups and organizations are taking the lead to make labeling accurate and understandable to the consumer today.

U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Organic Program allows companies to label cosmetics “organic” if they meet certain criteria. Cosmetics labeled “100 percent organic” must contain organically-produced ingredients and processing aids. Products must contain at least 95 percent organically-produced ingredients. “100 percent organic” and “organic” products may display these terms and the percentage of organic content on their display panel. The USDA seal and the seal or mark of the certifying agents may appear on product packages and in advertising.

USDA also allows companies to use the phrase, “Made with organic ingredients,” and list up to three ingredients or food groups on the display panel if products contain at least 70 percent organic content. The percentage of organic content and the certifying agent seal or mark may be also be printed on the display panel. But, the USDA seal may not be placed on the packaging. Products labeled “organic” must identify each organically-produced ingredient on the information panel. The name of the certifying agent of the final product must be displayed as well. Listing the address of the certifying agent is optional.

These distinctions are important because cosmetics such as those made by Physicians Formula®, which are high quality, easy available, formulated for sensitive skin, hypoallergenic, fragrance- and PABA-free, may not be certified “organic.” Rather, only some Physicians Formula® products – not all – are legitimately “organic.” Good products, yes. Organic, not all of them.

Products must demonstrate botanically derived ingredients, minimal processing, low environmental impact, and accurate labeling for safety purposes.

Organic and Sustainable Industry Standards (OASIS)

Non-profit, trade association of leading companies such as Aveda, Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, Origins, Perfect Organics, Suki, among others, that developed the only “industry consensus” standard for Organic Production for Health and Beauty Products. Standard guides manufacturers in the use of organic ingredients, providing incentives for processes resulting in “organic” and/or “sustainable” finished goods.

For me traveling is something I want to enjoy and do often. Now they are very strict on the items you can carry on board. Here are four great moisturizers that you can take with you instead of buying something you do not want to when you land and then throw away and waste the money.
